Baviaanskloof Interpretive and Visitor Info Centre at Nuwekloof

Date: 3rd March 2022

The new Baviaanskloof Interpretive and Visitor Info Centre at Nuwekloof and the Leopard Trail hikers huts which were upgraded by the Department of Tourism & the Eastern Cape Parks and Tourism Agency using EU funding, were officially handed over by Deputy Minister Fish Mahlalela on 03 March 2022. 

The event was hosted by Eastern Cape Tourism (ECPTA) and the Department of Tourism. 

The Centre includes amongst others a modern info centre, a conference room, an exciting array of interpretive and immersive virtual tours platforms, admin office, kitchen, cafeteria, ablution facilities, parking area and a covered terrace.
